I received my training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods. I have also earned a certificate in Health Counseling from The Teacher's College of Columbia University.
I am also a practicing herbalist, and I have earned a Certificate in Holistic Health Studies from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. This is the only regionally accredited college in the state of New Jersey that offers training specifically in Holistic Health. I am currently studying advanced clinical herbalism with David Winston at his Center for Herbal Studies and studying acupuncture and Oriental medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City.
